Natural gas
It makes a concession without compromise: "Gas City" brings comfort, economy, respect for the environment without worrying about supply.
Security side, the boilers are equipped
with
a cutoff of gas if the flame was extinguished.
LPG
Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or propane butane offers an alternative to natural gas when there is no connection to a network.
Note that a storage tank is leased or purchased necessary.
The air tanks are less and less used for the benefit of underground tanks.
Fuel
This fuel is needed immediately for houses not connected to the network of natural gas...
Through technical innovations, the burners consume less oil pollution with a still lower. At competitive prices, it requires a storage tank.
Electricity
Without storage and with an interesting installation cost, electrical insulation, however, requires very careful.
Intelligently to heat with this energy, the heat pump is an innovative response using renewable energy.
Wood
The first advantage of the traditional fuel is its low price.
The reverse of the coin held in a large storage, handling and binding careful selection of species.
However, 6 million houses (main housing) are equipped with a heater to the wood.
Solar
Free and inexhaustible, the energy gain to be known in France thanks to advances in technology.
With zero pollution, efficient use now, specific financial aid, solar and geothermal, which is operated by a heat pump, have the future ahead of them!
Choose the heating mode
Heating is either hot water or electricity.
The first works with any energy boiler to natural gas or propane, fuel
oil or wood, electric boiler, heat pump, solar ...
With
very long, this method of heating requires regular maintenance by a
professional.
The second is entirely dependent on
the
electricity that powers the radiant panels, convectors, radiant ceilings
and floors heated.
If the cost
of
maintenance
of
all electrical installations are close to zero, the notes may, however,
EDF reach heights ....
Whatever your project in the home new or old, one of the criteria to look at is the operating cost. Please be assisted by an independent body able to advise you and evaluate your future energy consumption.
Insulation: A key element of comfort
It reduces the heat losses in the envelope of the house and realize significant energy savings.
In new housing, it requires taking into account several parameters: the type (mineral wool, polystyrene, polyurethane, hemp, etc ...) and the cost, quality of materials of walls, the architectural choices, the ecological criteria, the impact on health ...
In the former habitat, the aesthetic dimension is not to ignore and isolate a stone wall facing south is not always necessary (if electric heating, insulate. If heating hot water you can help you keep the stones).
Heating and domestic hot water: ecological classification
If
we were to classify the patterns of heating on a scale ecological wood -
with
stoves
or
boilers
performance - and the
sun
would come out on top because they are renewable. The wood is also very
economical and creator of many local jobs .
Then come the
natural gas boiler.
The gas is the fossil fuel produces less CO2 when burned.
If you are connected to town gas, is also a very economical solution,
the
propane
tank being more expensive.
Fuel oil
and coal should be avoided because most pollutants.
Electric heating is to be banned for both ecological and economic
reasons.
For domestic hot water, if you do not have a system boiler that produces the best solution is a solar water heater. The clouds should be avoided for the same reasons that electric heating.
